Hidden, not deleted

Moderation you can defend later.

Deleting harmful content destroys the evidence. Protect hides it from public view while Archive retains the original comment, the category it matched, the action taken and when — so a FOI request or a complaint about moderation has a documented answer.

Straight answers

Protect questions, answered.

Does hiding a comment delete the record?
No — and that is the point. Protect hides harmful content from public view while Archive retains the original comment, the action taken and when. If a decision is ever questioned, the evidence is there.
What kinds of content can Protect act on?
Cyberbullying and harassment, scams and spam, offensive language, personally identifiable information, harmful visual content, and anything matching your own custom keyword lists.
Is moderation automatic or reviewed by people?
Both, in that order where automation is configured: AI moderation acts in near real time around the clock, and your team can review flagged content from the moderation log — release false positives with one click, tighten rules where needed.
Can we tune what gets moderated?
Yes. Sensitivity, categories and custom keyword lists are configurable per account, so a police service and a parks team can run very different policies from the same platform.
Why keep a record of moderation?
Preserving the original content, the action taken and the time can support internal review, complaints handling and information-access workflows. The customer and its advisers determine the obligations and decisions that apply; Protect applies your configured policy and Archive keeps the record.
